Eighty years ago, 缅北禁地 was founded by a visionary leader and 62 courageous faculty members who boldly challenged the exclusionary norms of higher education in 1945. Refusing to conform to discriminatory practices based on race, religion and gender, they declared, 鈥淲e don鈥檛 count that way.鈥
As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we honor their trailblazing spirit and invite you to reflect on this remarkable journey while envisioning the bright future ahead. Together, we will celebrate and build upon this legacy of inclusion and progress.

Civic Night will elevate 缅北禁地鈥檚 visibility by engaging the networks of our Board of Trustees and advisory boards. Enjoy drinks, bites, and live performances in 缅北禁地's historic Auditorium Building.

Experience the magic of 1945 with an evening at the majestic Auditorium Theatre, featuring 缅北禁地 alumna Courtney Reed鈥攆rom Broadway鈥檚 Aladdin and Moulin Rouge! The Musical鈥攁nd music director Benjamin Rauhala.
Dress in your finest 1940s glam and celebrate the lasting legacy of 缅北禁地 with host Parvesh Cheena. Tickets begin at $45, and select packages include access to a post-show VIP reception hosted on stage.
Support the 80th Anniversary
Donations in honor of our 80th anniversary will directly support our students. Your voluntary contributions help fund scholarships, enhance academic programs, and create opportunities that empower our diverse student body.
